We are happy to announce our 2nd Annual "STOMP" for Human Rights was a huge success! This year's grape stomp was held on September 25, with over 200 guests in attendance (many dressed in togas to match our Roman Theme). The night was filled with an abundance of wine, food and laughter!
Together with the efforts and generosity of our local community and loyal patrons we were able to raise $35,000 towards the building of the Human Rights Museum. The event head lined incredible entertainment acts such as Sierra Nobel and the Rod Hussey Revue. Hosting the event were Beau, Tom, and Frazier of 99.9 Bob F.M. and columnist Doug Speirs from the Winnipeg Free Press. Special guests included Mayor Sam Katz, Father Sam, players from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and election candidates Judy Wasylycia, John Orlikou and Michael Kowalson.
Guests enjoyed a delicious ten course meal and despite the rain-many jumped in the tub to stomp on the grapes! We'll keep you posted on the STOMP 2010 harvest!
A tremendous thank you to everyone who contributed to our 2nd Annual STOMP for Human Rights. We are incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement we received from the local community.
